To that same point, the less work required on the consumer end, the better. 57% of online consumers are more likely to purchase something after watching a video demo of a product than if they had to read through a product description. Ease of connection is HUGE in this mobile era–don’t make your customers work for you! Once you’ve secured their purchase, make questions and support easy on your consumers as well. 68% of your consumers would prefer a video how-to over an FAQ or help article.
Consumers are more likely to share video marketing than any other kind of marketing. It’s so much easier to ask followers to “Watch this 10 second clip!” than to say “Read this 500 word article!” Capitalize on those social shares by capturing the initial audience, creating a story that is compelling and worth sharing (remember you have about 10 seconds to engage and keep them), and let your loyal customers do the work for you.
Finally, video marketing lets you get up close and personal with your audience. Traditional forms of marketing (think print, radio, etc.) are fairly stationary.
